“16 types of prayer – #8 Deliverance"
Key bible verse: Isaiah 6:7 (King James)
According to dictionary.com deliverance is defined as: rescue from bondage or danger. Do you know someone in danger or bondage who needs rescuing? Read on. Notice that immediately after the live coal touched his mouth change began to happen. When ones life is touched by the power of God through deliverance positive change becomes evident.
One may have been bent on a lifestyle or behaviours that felt good, fun or pleasurable but led down a road laced with feelings of darkness, hopelessness, depression and guilt. Once the process of deliverance has started the appetites, desires and yearnings for these often unhealthy things begin to disappear.
Some have testified the complete deliverance process was immediate. Others have said it was slow yet steady. Still others say it is a daily dying process. Often there are many internal layers that must be peeled away buy the power of God during this process. Layers that have been apart of our lives for months or even years. At every level it is a constant yielding process. It is not an impossible act. What is impossible with men is possible with God.

"Surprise Me God 30-Day Experiment Created by Terry Esau – Day 9”
Today was a day I felt the Lord anchoring deep, deep, deep, deep down in my soul area. A inner place no man's eye can see. A place of quiet soul searching. It was surprising, reflective, at times painful and deeply personal.

"Prayer Exercise"
Allow me to say these words out loud with you: "Father I want to look like you, talk like you, think like you and respond like you. Remove everything and everyone out of my life that keeps me from walking in complete deliverance. Remove every cord, wall, habit and all residue in my life that does not bring glory to you in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father. Amen."

“A little laughter”
Little Johnny watched, fascinated, as his mother smoothed cream on her face. "Why do you do that, mommy?" he asked. "To make myself beautiful," said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue. "What's the matter?" asked Little Johnny. "Giving up?"

"16 Types of Prayer - #7 Petitions"
Key Verse: Psalms 20:5 - Amplified Bible (latter portion)
Dictionary.com defines Petitions as: To ask for by petition; request formally. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible in the Hebrew & Chaldee Dictionary portion on page # 73, item # 4862 it defines petitions as a request: desire, petition.
This makes me think of a day I went to a local Super Walmart. They had someone sitting behind a small table filled with all kinds of petitions that needed so many signatures to be placed on the ballot for a vote. Well by God's grace we don't need a bunch of signatures to get our Petitions before the King of Kings. Because of the the work completed by Jesus Christ on Calvary's Cross over 2000 years ago we can formally go before the Lord and make our petitions known. Whether its one or a thousand desires/request. We can Petition him in prayer until Heaven releases a answer.

Today's "surprise" speaks directly to those who may not believe in the power of prayer. Or who have struggled getting prayers answered by God. During our time of devotion this scripture was one shared: John 15:7
4 Steps to get your prayers answered
1) Abide in Jesus Christ
2) Let his Word abide in you
3) Ask what you will
4) It shall be given to you
I don't know about you...but that is something I can get very excited about. Moving forward let's make double sure we are abiding in Jesus Christ according to his Word. Not a title, position, fame or fortune.
***************************************************************
"Prayer Exercise"
Allow me to say this prayer with you: "Father I thank you for your word. I know it is forever settled in Heaven. Help me to continue abiding in your word. If I get side tracked or thrown off kilter bring me back into Divine alignment in Jesus name. Amen."

"16 Types of Prayer - #6 Meditation"
Key Verse: Psalms 19:14 (Amplified Bible)
Here we see David talking to God in prayer. He is asking the Lord to let the words from his mouth and the meditations from his heart be acceptable in his sight. This lends one to beleive he was at a point in his life where it was time to take ownership of his own words and thoughts. It's my desire we all come to this point in 2008.
In order to see with our own eyes our destiny in this lifetime its imperative to begin to become proactive in these two areas. Life and death is in the power of our tongues. My father in the Gospel is well known for the following two quotes: "Sow a thought....reap a action. Sow a action...reap a habit. Sow a habit reap a destiny". It all starts with our thoughts. Many find themselves on the seat of "do-nothing" because of "stinkin' thinking. It's not because of a lack of gifting, talent or purpose. Often it is the exact opposite. Readers "capability without dependability is no ability at all....for if you know how to do a thing......but can not be depended on or found....its like having no ability at all".
Dont draw back from the Prayer of meditation in 2008. Get off that seat of "do-nothing". Start looking at the glass half full instead of half empty. It can yield bountiful fruits in your life. Choose to meditae on positive things this year. Align yourself with people looking to do the same. As you do, you will began to notice significant growth in other areas of your life.
"Surprise Me God-30 Day Experiment" created by Terry Esau -Day #7
Today while in prayer it was impressed upon my heart to read James 4:7. It may be a familiar scripture to some. It outlines simple steps to maintain victory in ones life.
Step #1) Submit to God
Step #2) Resist the Devil
Step #3) Your enemy will flee from you
The first step may be a struggle for some. We are living in a time where people don't want to submit to anyone let alone God. Making a conscious intelligent decision to willingly submit to the Lord protects and shields us from the strong winds and waves that are sure to arise at some point in ones life. It's similar to a car windshield. If you have driven or ridden in a car most have a front window (windshield) with wind shield wipers. The windshield & wipers do not stop the wind from blowing or the rain from coming down. However they do a fairly decent job at keeping the wind/rain out of your car while shielding you from flying debris.
There are some folks who attempt to resist the devil without first submitting to God. More often than not this ends negatively. Your enemy ends up saying something like...Paul I know..... Jesus I know...but who exactly are you? Submitting puts a mark on your life. It breeds relationship with the Father. When you see one who embraces the Word of God from Genesis to Revelations its safe to say this is someone who has chosen to submit to God. They have come to recognize he watches over his word to perform it.
After following the two previous steps faithfully your enemy has to flee. When your ways please the Lord your enemy will either flee or be at peace with you.
"Prayer Exercise"
Say these words with me: "Father right now I to begin to take ownership for my thought life. I know that whatever I think about I speak about. Lead me to people, Cd's & Book's that will help me mediate on positive life changing things which will help push me into my Divine destiny & purpose in Jesus name. Amen."

“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.” By - Gail Devers
"A little humor"
Says one humorist: "Life is unfair. I lost my car keys at a ball game and never found them. I lost my sunglasses at the beach and never found them. I lost my socks in the washing machine and never found them. I lost three pounds on a diet -- I found them and five more."

Special Edition: "What Is Our Agenda As Kingdom Ambassadors?"
"Special stand alone Edition"
Written By Paula Manigo (Published with permission)
We have been created with Kingdom authority. However, the only way to tap into this authority is by first of all accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord. After which, our spirits become enlightened to the truth of God's Word. He introduces us to who we really are in Him and what we house on the inside because He lives in us. From the very beginning ( Genesis ) God breathed Himself and all of His power and authority within us by which we are empowered to do the same works in the earth as Jesus did and Greater Works! We have been given Kingdom Dominion Authority over everything in the earth realm. The Word of God says in Psalms 115:16, The heavens are The Lord's heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men. ( Amplified Version ) We have been designed to conquer and subdue the land. We have been designed to triumph over all adversities not sometimes, but all of the time! We have been sent into the earth to introduce The Kingdom of Heaven to vessels enslaved by the kingdom of darkness. When we come on the scene, the atmosphere shifts not because of us, but because of Who we represent. We must realize and live with confidence that The Kingdom of God is within us. Luke 17:21. In order to fully operate as an ambassador for Christ, we must know this. We must lead by example understanding that we are Kingdom citizens in the earth who are here in the world, but not of the world. We are on Kingdom assignment and therefore, we are lead by Kingdom instruction. We should stand out among others who don't know our Father God and among those who haven't tapped into their true identity in Christ, why? Because we are exemplifying The Kingdom of Heaven everywhere we go and by doing so, deliverance takes place in the lives of God's people. Also, as Kingdom Ambassadors, we have what we say! We have been given authority to speak a thing and it be so! We have been given the authority to decree and declare God's Word in the earth and at our word Nations shift for the glory of God The Father. Not only that, but sickness, disease, and all manner of situations, circumstances and yokes, which hold God's people in chains or by the throat, bow to our word and are destroyed. ( Because of His Word in us! ) We frame our world personally and the world we live in by our words! My prayer and purpose for creating this group is that serious minded vessels will be launched into this realm of thinking that we are a chosen generation and we house untapped power within that will literally shift our lives and those around us into dimensions and realms unknown to our natural minds because of the supernatural God we serve and represent here. We have been given witty inventions and Godly ideas that will launch us into places that will provoke curiosity that opens doors for our agenda. We have been given supernatural intelligence that has the potential to put us in corporate positions we haven't been trained in the natural for and ideas that have the potential to bring us billion dollar fruits for our lives and the up building of God's Kingdom in the earth. Yes, We should shift atmospheres wherever we are that all who don't know Him will recognize the true fact that they need to know Him! Listen, people of God, we have a rightful place in God's Kingdom and He has given us access to all it's treasures, but under the condition, we must be willing to give up our own agenda and selfish motives to put on His humility and love that now by our daily death a dying world can see the Light of His Kingdom through us and be set free and delivered from the bondage of Satan and his kingdom.May God's Kingdom Blessings and Abundant New Beginnings overtake you NOW!

"16 Types of Prayer - #5 Warfare Prayer"
Key verses:
2 Corinthians 10:4 - 5 (King James Version)
Matthew 11:12 (Amplified Bible)
We are in the mist of spiritual warfare everyday. We don't wrestle with human beings. But dark powers. We have weapons to offensively & defensively fight back. They are not guns, knives, bats or brass knuckles. One is the name of Jesus. There is no name greater in Heaven or earth than the name of Jesus. Another is the Word of God which is forever settled in Heaven. A few others are praise and the Blood of Jesus. Praise confuses your enemy. It sets the atmosphere for deliverance. When praises of the most high God go up, his Blessings come down. His blood reaches the highest mountain. It flows to the lowest valley.
Our weapons are mighty through God. Not ourselves. Casting down is a violent phrase. It's a sign/action of war. With our lives submitted to Jesus we can resist dark powers and they will flee from us. From the days of John the Baptist until now those who are apart of the Kingdom of Heaven have endured violent assaults because our enemy knows his time is very short. One must not choose to back up, move to the side, sit down, cave in, come unglued or give in. There are seasons one has to violently launch forward by faith to seize back by force everything your enemy has stolen from you. It was yours before the foundation of the world. War in prayer until the enemy has returned and or loosed everything God promised you! Dont stop until your family, community, city, state, nation and the world has come into Divine alignment with the will & purpose of the Living God.
"Surprise Me God-30 Day Experiment created by Terry Esau - Day 6"
It's the first day of 2008. I could not help but wonder what was coming next. My family spent the day at home just relaxing with each other. We decided early on in the day to "order pizza" for dinner. During the mid-afternoon. We heard a knock on the door. It was a friend from the San Francisco area. We had not scheduled a visit & had not received a call in advance that he was coming. We thought perhaps something was wrong. He came in and sat down mentioning he was in the area looking at places. After chatting for awhile he casually asked if "he could order us something to eat...like Pizza". I did not put two-n-two together until getting ready to write this up. The Lord sent this good friend by all the way from San Francisco to ask us if he could order us some food like...pizza to prove to me he is still a very good ear hustler and is concerned about my every need in 2008. I am truly thankful for that. This made me think about something someone once said..."Don't worry about taking your cares to God......he knows a lot of people...and he has a big mouth".
"Prayer Exercise"
Say these words with me: Father I thank you that as a blood washed believer I have been given Kingdom authority while here on earth. The Kingdom of Heaven stands with me. I have unseen Divine reinforcements that protect me. As I continually submit to your will I can use the name of Jesus, the Word of God and the blood of Jesus to cast down strong holds while taking back by force everything dark powers have tried to steal from me. I embrace this fact in my life right now in Jesus name. Amen.

"16 Types of Prayer - #4 Agreement"
FMCC Prayer Ministry Blog wishes a Happy New Year to you and your family. It is our sincere prayer that 2008 be the start of something new, fresh and exciting in your life!

"16 Types of Prayer - #4 Agreement"
Matthew 18:19 (Amplified Bible) tells us - "Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven".
This scripture brings home the point that you don't need alot of people to make change happen. I am reminded of Gideon. He was someone in old testament hand chosen by God to fight a particular battle. He sought after and received several different types of verifications this was really to happen. During this phase of his assignment he began to seek out 10 men to help him. This decision was birthed in the bed of fear. He was fearful of what would happen to him after he obeyed God. I could really go on with this, but the point I am trying to bring out is as a heir of the Living God you have the Kingdom of Heaven backing you up. You have angels protecting you. Don't allow fear to paralyze you from possessing your promise in 2008. Agreement is the position of authority. Seek out one or two believers full of faith to come into agreement (harmony/alignment) prayer with you about whatever negative impacting situations that may be hindering you. Breakthrough will happen in your lifetime. It shall come to pass before your very eyes. Use the Prayer of agreement today and watch God move on your behalf.
"Surprise Me God - 30 Day Experiment Created by Terry esau – Day 5”
This one is kind of funny. As usual I prayed the simple prayer "Surprise me God" then went on with my day as usual. My daughters and I stopped into the Dollar Store to pick up a few items for the New Years Party at our home church tonight. I was kind of nervous because I don't do good in crowds. Thankfully it was not very crowded at all. We found our items and got into the shortest line we could find. I noticed the background music playing but really did not think to much of it. Then suddenly the song "Stand by Me" starts playing. The lady behind me starts singing it to her self kinda low at first. Moments later she is in a full force all out solo right there in line at the Dollar store. I mean all out feet tapping, rockin' back-n-forth with a few spins and unfamiliar dance moves. I could not help myself. I had to say something. I'm thinking she will settle down in a second. Nope. That lady's New Years Eve party got stated early right there in line. It was as if she had stepped into a way back memory or something. This time when I turned around I had to say something. With a smile I kindly said "you are really feelin' that song aren't you"? That gigantic kool-aid smile said it all. Still singing "oh..oh..oh...oh yeah, stand by me..oh yeah she blurts out with feet tapping...its the New Year.....why not"? There she went almost as if my statement gave her permission to start singing even louder as she seemed to reach even farther back into a far off place in her mind with fingers snappin', hips shaking, feet tappin''...stand by me, stand by me. I heard the folks in front of me saying..."she sure is feeling that song. She does not care who sees her". Then I heard a very small still voice on the inside say.....this is how you are to enter into 2008. Not caring who sees or judges you. Praise me with all your heart in a dance. Sing melodies to me as you remember every mountain I brought you over this year. Every door opened that should have been shut in your face. Bless me for the places my favor has taken you to that money could never buy. After paying for my items I turned and told her "keep on singing in the New Year". She was handing the check out lady her money with "stand by me on her lips". She replied "I will". Have a blessed New Year I chimed back.
As we close out 2007 I would encourage you to take a few minutes not to reflect on the things you wanted but did not get. But on how your still here. After all the tears and heart ache...your still here. It may seem as if life has poured as much hell as it could on you...but your still here. Most would have came unglued or had a nervous break down. But his mercy brought you through. That's something to be thankful for.
"Prayer Exercise"
Lift your hands and say these words with me: "Lord I thank you for the good, bad, ugly and indifferent things that happened to me in 2007. You said in your word to give thanks in all things....to even count it all joy. I trust the things you allowed me to endure in 2007 will serve a two-fold purpose. They have made me stronger, wiser, and sharper while at the same time developing Godly character inside me. You hold my future. You know what's best for me. Thanks for a new beginning in 2008 in Jesus name. Amen”

"16 Types of Prayer: #3 Binding & Loosing Prayer"
Prayer is the vehicle we use to communicate with the Lord. Over the last few days we have been covering different types of prayer. Today we take a closer look at "Loosing & Binding".
This is mentioned in the passage of scripture located in the Bible at Matthew 18:19. It reads as follows: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven". This may excite people of faith everywhere. First we see we have been given "keys". This represents authority as well as trust. I don't know about you but I don't give any of my keys to just anyone. It has to be someone I sincerely trust. I hope a bright light begins to flicker in the minds of our readers about how important you are in the eyes of the Lord. What a honor and privilege he has entrusted to you and I. The keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. His Kingdom. There is no Kingdom in Heaven, Earth or underneath the Earth greater than his Kingdom. We have a awesome responsibility to use this trust/authority wisely.
Next, we see the word "whatever". What a broad based word whatever seems to be. One definition on Dictionary.com defines whatever as "in any amount; to any extent". I don't know about you but of a lot of things come to mind that could be classified as "whatever". There may be various dark situations trying to come against ones life, family, church, community and a whole bunch of other stuff right now that can now be declared as improper or unlawful. With this in mind believers everywhere can begin to stand up to earnestly contend with Kingdom authority bestowed upon them to legislate Kingdom transactions in the heavens which will in turn bring forth positive change in the earth. Did you see that? You no longer have to sit back and accept negative situations impacting your life. Based on this scripture you and I can stand with complete authority to take control over "whatever" negative seen or unseen force that may be coming against you.
Began to bind up whatever is impacting your life negatively while loosing the positive counter part. For instance, bind up all fear then loose holy boldness in your life because God has not given us the spirit of fear but power, love and a sound mind. This is just a small example of what can be done by applying the Binding & Loosing prayer principle.
"Surprise Me God 30-Day Experiment: Created by Terry Esau: Day 5”
I am still riding on the sheer excitement of being entrusted with our own LIVE online TV show. This is totally incredible. Never would have imagined it in a million years. Anyways, while on the way to church out of the clear blue in the mist of total silence one of my children blurts out......"well today is the last Sunday of the year 2007. What are you going to do with it?" This was a very thought provoking surprise to hear come out of the mouth of a child whose age is just entering the double digits. Needless to say My husband and I began to quickly focus on this important fact brought to our attention. Inside I knew it was the Lord presenting me my "Surprise" in a very memorable way.....yet again.
"Prayer Exercise"
Lift your hands and say these words with me: Father God you are a awesome and mighty God. I thank you for trusting me with the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Moving forward I promise not to take this authority lightly. Teach me what to bind & loose around me in Jesus Name. Amen".
