“16 types of Prayer – #13 Travail"


Key Verse: Galatians 4:19 (Amplified Bible)


This is another selfless form of prayer. It is used to birth things out into the earth realm. Someone who has witnessed or given birth to a child may have a point of reference. Sometimes before a woman gives birth she can travail for hours or even days to birth out a child. You tap into another place you did not know existed. Things begin to happen that are unseen to the naked eye. For instance a mothers lower female internal organs and bones temporarily shift to make room for the child to come forth. There are times she may cry, moan or wail out during this process. When the Lord chooses one to travail in the Spirit there may be similar manifestations. One has to keep their personal temple (body) filled and refilled with the Spirit of God. We must daily maintain a clear path and connection to the throne of God for necessary taylor made instructions. As we are faithful in this form of prayer we will become senseitized to his leading. He may even begin to trust us with more "Kingdom Authority" necessary to unclock untapped areas or groups of people here on earth.

"Surprise Me God 30-Day Experiment – Day 14”


Today's "surprise" came in the form of Divine comfort. My heart truly ached for my grandmother who has gone on before us to meet the Lord. As cherished memories flashed through my mind a mixture of laughter, disappointment, hurt and sadness flooded my heart. In seconds I sensed the presence of the Lord there to comfort my heart and mind. He truly is comforter.

“A little laughter”


An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of religious service when she was startled by an intruder. As she caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables, she yelled, "Stop - Acts 2:38!" (..turn from your sin...) The burglar stopped dead in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done. As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar, "Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you. "Scripture?" replied the burglar, "She said she had an AXE and two 38's!"
